The heart-warming story of a family waiting for the magic of Christmas Eve to arrive - not Santa, but Daddy - told from the perspective of the adult Clay-Boy as he remembers the journey he took, that snowy evening long ago...
"It is remembered in my family that on Christmas Eve of 1933 my father was late arriving home. That, along with the love he and my mother bestowed upon their eight red-headed offspring, is fact. The rest is fiction." - Earl Hamner

Improv will resume Monday, Nov. 30th, after Thanksgiving.
Drop-in session begins at 6:00p.m.
Please call 434.361.1999 for details.
Never been on stage before? Been on stage more times than you'd care to mention but looking to recharge your acting batteries?
Improv at the Hamner is for you.
This mixed group of old hands and neophytes is meeting every Monday. Working with Loose Moose graduate and seasoned improvisor, Mary Coy, young (hit) and old (HIT) meet Monday evenings to learn and practice the basics - saying "yes, and"; making each other look good; and speaking spontaneously. Playing games and creating scenes incorporating the basics prepare the entire company for regular performances at the Hamner.
hit is open to ages 8years and up, HIT is for adults.
This program is free of charge and is intended for everyone with an interest in Improv. Call 434-361-1999 for additional information, or just come see what it's all about!
